About

Building on the tradition of the Kerrville Folk Festival, house concerts in Texas began to pop up in the 1980s (according to Texas Highways, Feb 1998).  The intimate setting offers audiences the opportunity to hear music not heard on commercial radio. Check out our recent posts (or better yet, subscribe to this blog) to find out about for our next concert.

We have the great fortune to live in a home destined to be a public space, a decommissioned train depot, with accoustics meant for live music. We have about four concerts a year, and we hope to honor the countless musicians of extraordinary talent who oftentimes lack the audience or financial reward which they deserve.  The series will alternately feature singer songwriters and Latin music.

We can accommodate about 40 people, so please let us know if you plan to join us by making a reservation. Send us an email and we’ll add you to our list announcing upcoming house concerts, or click on the subscribe link at right.

Hope to see you at a concert!
